Life Coaching is a profession that is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy or counselling. The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in the client’s personal life, relationships or profession by examining what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to make your life be what you want it to be.

You choose Music or Art – Discover then what you’ll be doing on the day!

“Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them like an artist.” Pablo Picasso

“To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.” Osho

Have you been driving somewhere and arrived at your destination only to realise you remember nothing about your journey? Most people have! This is a common example of ‘mindlessness’. As humans we are often ’not present’ in our own lives. We often fail to notice the good things about our lives, fail to hear what our bodies are telling us, or poison ourselves with toxic self-criticism.

Human minds are easily distracted, habitually examining past events and trying to anticipate the future. Becoming more aware of our thoughts, feelings and sensations may not sound like an obviously helpful thing to do, however learning to do this in a way that suspends judgement and self-criticism can have an incredibly positive impact on our lives. Mindfulness is a way of paying attention to, and seeing clearly whatever is happening in our lives. It will not eliminate life’s pressures, but it can help us respond to them in a calmer manner that benefits our heart, head and body. Practising mindfulness allows us to be fully present in our life.

Many people think that yoga is just stretching. But while stretching is certainly involved, yoga is really about creating balance in the body through developing both strength and flexibility. This is done through the performance of poses of postures, each of which has specific physical benefits. The poses can be done quickly in succession, creating heat in the body through movement (Vinyasa style yoga) or more slowly to increase stamina and perfect the alignment of the pose. The poses are a constant, but the approach to them varies depending on the yoga tradition in which the teacher has trained.

Body confidence is about accepting and loving the body you’ve been given. This confidence is determined by your body image - the way you think and feel about your body.

If you mostly feel comfortable with your body, are satisfied with the way you look and don’t dwell too much on those bits you are less keen on, it’s likely you have a healthy body image. However, if you struggle to identify any positive aspects of your appearance, are constantly trying to hide perceived flaws behind clothing or make-up, or put off doing certain things in life due to dissatisfaction with your shape, it’s likely you have a poor body image.

Poor body image can stop you doing the things you want in life. Body Confidence will help create a healthier body image through tools and techniques that will challenge unrealistic body ideals and get you focused on loving and accepting your body.

Pilates is remarkably effective – and medically approved. It is of a holistic nature, being based upon a well-constructed philosophical foundation. Central to the Method is ‘awareness of your own body’ and each and every exercise is built around its eight basic principles:
Alignment • Breathing • Centring • Relaxation • Co-ordination • Concentration • Stamina • Flowing Movements.

By working on the deep architectural structure of the body, ‘core stability’ is achieved, and then maintained, through increasingly complex movement sequences. Specific problem areas can be targeted by an exercise, but always in relation to the rest of one’s body.

Your body awareness is heightened by bringing together mind and body – Pilates literally teaches you to be in control of your body, allowing you to handle stress more effectively and achieve relaxation more easily.

Mind Detox is a therapy which helps people identify negative beliefs which can lead to trauma, disease, and mind limiting beliefs. This can stop people from living life to the full either through illness or negative thoughts. This therapy helps people find the root cause of their problem quickly and effortlessly and unblock pathways that allow people to live life to the full.

Mind Calm compliments this very well and provides techniques that allow you to let go of the constant chatter in your mind. Mind Calm helps you to worry less, sleep better, improve your relationships and live more in the present moment. It will give you the tools to help you find ways to reduce pain, bring your life to a more peaceful place and allow you to experience being your true self.

By removing foods that make us feel tired and bloated, and replacing them with a healthy balanced diet rich in plant based foods and lean protein, you will start to feel more energised, less stressed and lighter.

It’s not easy being your body. From pesticides and chemicals in your food to pollution in the air, it’s got a lot to deal with. Eliminating toxins are what your liver, lungs, bowel, kidneys and skin are for – and they’re working their socks off to keep you in prime condition. But they’d appreciate a little help.
